A leash for your dog. A leash is required at Holmes Jungle and
along the Rapid Creek Foreshore. Although
Marlow Lagoon is an off-leash park we recommend
that your dog be on a leash whilst moving
between the carpark and the park itself,
and for the initial introductions to the
other dogs.
Dog treats. You need to reward all of the good behaviour
that they will show you as they walk and
play nicely with the other dogs and people.
"Doggy do" bags. To pick up after your dog.
Fresh water, and a bowl, for your dog (don't
forget some water for yourself). It is important to keep well hydrated in
the tropics. There are drinking "tubs"
for the dogs at Marlow Lagoon but not at
the other locations.
Comfortable walking shoes. Especially at Holmes Jungle where thongs,
or bare feet, are definitely not recommended.
Insect repellent. The midgies and mosquitoes can be annoyingly
active at Marlow Lagoon and Holmes Jungle.
