- Top End Lost and Found - TELAF aims to reunite lost animals with
their owners in the Top End of Australia,
and to find forever homes for some homeless
animals. Telaf is a free independent service.
Telaf cannot guarantee the return of your
animal but offers another avenue for seaching.
- Darwin City Council pound - Lost and stray dogs and cats are cared
for at the new Darwin City Council Animal
Pound. The new DCC pound is situated adjacent
to the old pound in Boulter Road, Berrimah
next door to the RSPCA. Call DCC on 8930
0600 (council switchboard) or call the pound
direct on 8947 2099 (during their opening
hours).
- RSPCA Darwin - Runs a shelter for strays - their phone
number is 8984 3795
- Palmerston City Council pound - for the Palmerston area - their phone
number is 8935 9977.
